Stevie's Snow Adventures

We have been very lucky with all our Storms including Sandy. However today's Snow Storm Feb. 13th really got us. The 12 inches of snow did not sit well on our Car Port . Karen was in the Kitchen cooking dinner (maybe that is why "Lighting struck") and I was in the Den-TV room giving Kaylee her bottle (my favorite time) when we heard a loud noise and the house actually shook. I was next to the car port so I immediately yelled I think we just lost our Car Port. Thank God no one was outside as it was about 6:30 pm. Don and Karen rushed out to check the damage and sure enough our car port collapsed and my new car was buried underneath it. You can see it in the pictures. We do know no windows are broken but we don't know what actual damage is done until we can dig it out. The collapse did damage our fence and the roof of the house plus some damage inside the den. Main thing is no one was hurt and we have been very lucky with all our bad weather. We are expecting another 3 to 6 in. of snow tonight. Hoping it won't be more. Love, Stevie
