On the way to recovery

Thanks Jim for posting my tale of woe. And Thank you everybody for your multiple emails calls visits and cards. I am only writing this because Bill Stringfield wants to know how do I avoid my accident. I didn't break my leg jumping off gondolas in Italy nor riding camels in Egypt. I simply broke my femur accidentally by watering plants around my Jacuzzi and inadvertently stepped on the cover of my Jacuzzi with my left foot while my right foot was on the upper ledge, but the cover gave way, dumping me in the spa with a byproduct of breaking my leg. Not fun but it is what it is. I will be wheelchair-bound for three months until I can put weight on my leg but I am being well taken care of here at the rehab center in Newport Beach. It is uncertain when I will get to go home but I am improving every day and should know more in a couple of weeks. So Bill the moral of the story is don't water your plants (or stand on top of your Jacuzzi cover regardless how thick it is) Keep the faith. I will be back in good shape to help with our next reunion, God willing
