Note from Stevie
I enjoyed seeing the photos of the Class of 59's
reunion, really wish I could have been there. Health restriction
prevented me from attending. Since last seeing most of you in 2009
I've had a total knee replacement, a pace maker due to A-Fib and
worse of all a loss of hearing associated with equilibrium problems
which now requires me to use a cane. Traveling for me is obviously a
very large problem. It appears a good time was experienced by all and
I wish I could have been there. Best to all of you....Stevie

Stevie's Snow Adventures
We
have been very lucky with all our Storms including Sandy. However
today's Snow Storm Feb. 13th really got us. The 12 inches of snow did
not sit well on our Car Port . Karen was in the Kitchen cooking
dinner (maybe that is why "Lighting struck") and I was in
the Den-TV room giving Kaylee her bottle (my favorite time) when we
heard a loud noise and the house actually shook. I was next to the
car port so I immediately yelled I think we just lost our Car Port.
Thank God no one was outside as it was about 6:30 pm. Don and Karen
rushed out to check the damage and sure enough our car port collapsed
and my new car was buried underneath it. You can see it in the
pictures. We do know no windows are broken but we don't know what
actual damage is done until we can dig it out. The collapse did
damage our fence and the roof of the house plus some damage inside
the den. Main thing is no one was hurt and we have been very lucky
with all our bad weather. We are expecting another 3 to 6 in. of snow
tonight. Hoping it won't be more. Love, Stevie

Pat (Orselli) Zenone
Hi Jim,
I had a chance to visit New York with my daughter, Annette. We went to hear our grandson, Dominic, sing with his high school choir at Carnegie Hall and St. Patrick's Cathedral. It was a wonderful opportunity and contacted Stevie McDonald Teufel, who lives in New York state, to see each other. Since I was traveling with Annette, Stevie brought her daughter Susan, whom you may have met at our 50th reunion. The girls got along wonderfully while Stevie and I remenisced. Friendships that last a lifetime. (That includes you too, Jim). The trip was a wonderful adventure. One I will remember always.
Pat

Great place to eat, highly recommended by Stevie.

It was really bad here on Long Island for all the people who lived close to the water. So many people lost their homes. We are about 10 min. form the water so we were very lucky. We lost a couple of tree limbs, electric for 2 days along with cable (TV,Internet, telephones) and our cell phones worked sometimes. God was very good to us and our children. One son still has no electric but he does have a generator. The main thing is no one was hurt and our hearts go out to the people who have lost there homes. Our schools have been closed the past week and will not open until after the elections for a variety of reasons. It is amazing what we take for granted. Again thanks for asking. STEVIE
