Note about Hurricane Sandy:

Fortunately God was good to us here in DownEast Maine. What we had was heavy rain and wind gusts up to 60 MPH, which is just a regular NorEaster for us. Our leaves were off the trees already so we didn't even lose power here on the coast.

Just in case people forget, these are amazing soldiers standing at the Tomb through the Super Storm.

Response from Stevie after Hurricane Sandy:
It was really bad here on Long Island for all the people who lived close to the water. So many people lost their homes. We are about 10 min. form the water so we were very lucky. We lost a couple of tree limbs, electric for 2 days along with cable (TV,Internet, telephones) and our cell phones worked sometimes. God was very good to us and our children. One son still has no electric but he does have a generator. The main thing is no one was hurt and our hearts go out to the people who have lost there homes. Our schools have been closed the past week and will not open until after the elections for a variety of reasons. It is amazing what we take for granted. Again thanks for asking. STEVIE

"Michael was born in Pasadena, California on February 27th, 1941, and lived in La Canada until his teen years when his family moved to Covina.  It was here that he met the love of his life, Susan Crosby.  He and Suzy married September 14th 1963.

Mike has worked for the Romero Auto Dealerships for 35 years where he is lovingly known as Papa by his co-workers.  Other than his family which he always put first, Mike loved golf, good food, playing bridge, and traveling.  He and Suzy have traveled the world.  Their last big trip to Europe was with their dear friends, Dick and Sharon Martin.

Mike is survived by his wife, Suzy, his sons, Steve and Kenny and their wives Mary and Tess, his sister Kathy and his five grandchildren, Nicky, Amanda, Victoria, Michael, and Jacob."
